Botox^® Cosmetic

The cosmetic form of botulinum toxin, often referred to by its product name Botox® is a popular, non-surgical injection that temporarily reduces or eliminates frown lines, forehead creases, crow’s feet near the eyes and thick bands, even in the neck. This toxin blocks the nerve impulses, temporarily relaxes the muscles that cause wrinkles, while giving the skin a smoother, more refreshed appearance. This procedure is done in the office by physicians and a registered nurse injector trained in the use of Botox injections.

Botox Cosmetic may also be used to decrease excess sweating of the palms and underarms.
