How a Contour TRL laser peel is done
We set the Contour TRL laser to the depth needed to treat whatever skin issue we are targeting. We also take into account your recovery timeline desires. Then we apply the laser light energy, which basically vaporizes a layer of skin. This removes dead skin cells and stimulates the growth of new collagen, which improves the skin’s thickness and resilience. After your treatment, the body responds by regrowing new, fresh, healthy skin that gives you a younger, more vibrant appearance.
In your session, your skin is first cleaned in the treatment area and your eyes covered with protective shields. We then place the laser handpiece above the skin and hold it in place as the computer-guided scanner moves the laser beam across the treatment area. The procedure usually lasts from 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the area being treated.

Recovery
Immediately after your treatment, your skin will be red and will feel as if it is sunburned. There may be some swelling. You’ll need to apply some topical skin care products to address dryness. The depth of your treatment affects your recovery time. For shallow peels, it takes usually three to four days to resume normal activities. Deeper peels require longer recoveries.
